Yes, it is a real, live, chicken coup
Some people build bird houses, and then some people build BIRD HOUSES. This gorgeous ckicken coup was featured on a segment of the HGTV show "Look What I Did!"
Its amazing and fantastic.
Each of the photos in this lens are linked to a larger picture. Just click on the picture. The Chicken Chapel is in the front yard not too far off the country road that passes by the house. Passers by are often caught by surprise and turn around at the nearest opportunity to come back for a second look.
The rooster is often used as an Icon in religious art
At night the chickens come home to roost. This must seem very awe inspiring for those chickens. I hope they have pleasant dreams.I should mention that these chickens live a long and happy life. They aren't expected to do much more than eat bugs and worms, and lay an egg every now and then - and they live a natural life full of exercise and sunshine.

And polkadots, buttons, spray paint, blue bottles, whether or not they're growing on trees, house-shaped things, circular things, squircular things, old things, things that just look old, books of almost every kind, rhinestones and other shiny things, gardening/plants/growing things, bugs/birds/animals/natural things, mushrooms, algae, nudibranchs, snails, jelllies, octopuses and other cephalopods, rocks, Mozart, Pachabel's Canon, Louis XIV, old roses, chinoiserie, ikats, mirrors, pearls, this whole plushy thing that's currently rocking the net, bubble baths, ice cream, my son, the beach, clocks, duck egg blue, pink, vintage tins esp. blue ones, bells, old flat suitcases, frozen Charlottes, Cabinets of Curiosity, tea towels, crochet-covered tree trunks, red, fog, my cats but not the neighbors', art dolls, making art dolls, collage, and the world's strangest garden which happens to be just down the road! www.danceswithflowers.wordpress.com
