Easy Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe

My version of the all-time favorite, warming, feel-good food. Generally Campbell's does it for me, but sometimes you want that simmering chicken, fresh vegetable and homestyle noodle taste. Fast and filling...especially if you already have the chicken and vegetables ready. After you make this soup, you'll never want to eat canned chicken noodle soup again!

What you need to make it:

- 2 Boxes of Chicken Broth
- 2-3 Large Carrots (chopped)
- 3-4 Chicken Breasts (chopped) or Large Can of Chicken
- Pepper
- Onions (Optional)
- Noodles

Home-Style Noodles

Sure you could buy anything, but remember the noodles help make the taste wholesome and hearty. This time I chose an Amish Home-Style Noodle that comes in a bag at the local grocery store. It costs probably $1 more, but worth it. Any noodles will work, I've used spaghetti noodles before.

You can use 7 cups of chicken broth, water or a combination.
I used two boxes of chicken broth that equals 7 cups.

Carrots and Celery (Chopped)

Fresh or Canned Chicken

Put all ingredients into a big pot.

Put all ingredients into a big pot.

Side of Peanut Butter Crackers or Peanut Butter Sandwich (or toast your bread too)

The Recipe:
