    Also try using more subdued colours. Some of the 'brighter' primary's can look kinda tacky. Rounded corners can add a nice touch as well, so too can really thin border such as 1 pixel a smidge darker than the fill colour.

    I sometimes get blurry-eyed if I see too many chiclets. I like 'em used sparingly, otherwise I like the microbars with a dropdown. 5*s just the same, good stuff here.
