According to the American Kennel Club, the Chihuahua is "A graceful, alert, swift-moving little dog with saucy expression, compact, and with terrier-like qualities of temperament." It doesn't mention how smart they are, or what devils they can be. Or how Chihuahuas are like potato chips - one is never enough!
Feisty and wonderful, "Chi's" also have some special needs. The dog treats that may be a snack for another dog are more than a meal for these little guys. They need harnesses that won't choke them, toys they can carry, chewies that fit in their mouths, and treats that won't pack on the pounds. We love these! Our little dog is safe and secure inside the Padded Carrier by Daba Doo, zipped in and with the tether firmly clasped to her collar. The sides are cushioned - comfy for our little dog.Zoe loves it because her head is out and she can see absolutely everything in complete safety and comfort. Removable base support ensures a flat bottom if you need to put the carrier down. The base even has its own, removable cushion!

Soft and elegant Tinki Vest
We really don't know whether to call these soft collars, harnesses, or clothes! We do know that the Tinki Vest from Susan Lanci Designs is one of the most elegant, simplest, and finest small dog harnesses we've ever seen. The Tinki Vest has two wide straps, one circles the dog's neck, the other her rib cage, connected at the back with a ring for attaching a leash. The straps close with very strong, wide velcro closures, so some size adjustment is possible.The design is elegant and simple and the material is fabulous. These vests are made of Ultrasuede, butter-soft. Colors are rich and vivid. Care is easy - a simple occasional brushing, mild detergent for most stains.
