Understanding the Ink Applicator

Squidsoap, a unique inking soap dispenser, helps teach and train proper hand washing technique to children. For children (and those still young at heart) SquidSoap turns hand washing into a game.
When you press down on the top of the SquidSoap pump, the special ink marker puts a small ink mark on the hand with vegetable dye. After the mark dries, liquid soap can be dispensed from the soap dispenser pump.
Removing the ink spot takes a good 15-20 seconds of thorough hand washing, leaving the child (or adult) with very clean hands.
Most professionals recommend washing your hands for a good 15-20 seconds.
