Keeping your head together while getting ready for back to school.

When kids are going to school it is often times a real joyful thing for a parent. It helps to keep out worry and also give a sense of relief. Not that they are happy to leave their kids but that they can get some work done. They get the chance to put themselves and their surroundings in order so they can better prepare to face any situation that might arise.

Parents who work also find it very convenient when they are able to leave their children in a secure environment for the day. It gives them some assurance and they can better focus on their job. However sending children to school often carries a cost. Some of these problems can be avoided if the proper tools and measures are used.

Kids go to school to learn

School was not designed as a drop of for children. Most parents take the children to school and hope that magically they will become great leaders, artists scientists and business people. However this is not entirely done at the snap of fingers.

Some work has to be done in putting the children in the right mind frame so that they can easily understand and convert the general knowledge being fed to them in a meaningful manner. School is often times underrated because people believe it does not cater to all the developmental needs of a child. I will agree.

It does not give everything and that is where good parenting comes in. A typical school teacher has to monitor an average of forty to fifty students. This is no easy task. Forty students with forty different needs is not easy. Most parents can hardly manage two children so you see what I am getting at.

A parent who understands this is able to take their child and implement their own homeschooling remedies. This can easily be done on weekends holidays and any other available free time. I am not suggesting that parents remove their child from the school system. However they have to feed their children with positive words and encouragement. This will most definitely help to fill the gaps that the teacher can not reach.

Good parenting can help reduce school complaints

With the added support from home children who suffer from bad grades can be helped. They might not show much but if parents keep encouraging their children they will learn to understand what it like to accomplish a task successfully. That is why they need to be constantly rewarded positively. Not sweets, gifts and toys but simple words like "that is good I never thought of that", "you are pretty smart" these little things do a world of good.

It is always good when a parent can set up certain situations that will help to teach children a lesson without having to drive it down their throats or preach to them. They learn best by doing so it is good to use that approach at times. An parenting will seem so much easier.

Children like adults want to be loved so give them their share of it. Do not spoil them or side with them when they do wrong. Let them know so that they can make the necessary corrections. They will bring home less complaint letters from school.

Hinderances

Some children do have a problem with memory. This is another thing that we need to look around. Sometimes children re blamed for things that are not entirely their fault. I remember being cursed for getting my maths wrong once. However when my answers were checked over not a thing was wrong. Guess what happened? Even though my answers were right they did not correspond with the teacher's answers. But neither of us were wrong. It turned out that I had written down a completely different set of numbers from those that were on the board. I was nearsighted and had to get glasses.

It problem is the same thing with some kids and their memory and as such the right steps have to be taken. Though their could be many other causes.

Some children might just have a genuine fear of numbers and math. I never found them to be difficult maybe because I was such a science head.

The Future

Our children are the future teach them well and they will lead the way. Parents it's your duty to let your kids know that they have it in them to be anything they want. They can get from from life only what they put in. Their minds are their own boundaries. The Wright Brothers always thought, if birds could fly why couldn't man. We might not have gotten wings but we got the brains to create them. That my friend is life.
