What is your opinion about Childrens Audio Books?
I strongly believe that childrens audio books are a great thing and that they are certainly a valauble tool to introduce kids to books. Parents need to know, though, that children need to be guided towards reading themselves, Giving them a good childrens book to read for a gift will help!

My kids love to read, but they also LOVE to listen. They have Adventures in Odyssey cds that they absolutely wear out. They listen to the stories over and over and over! (Many more times than I would care to read them aloud!)

Nope, childrens audio books only make them lazy and don't allow them to develop their reading skills, as everything is presented to them and they are mere consumers and don't need to make an effort to discover.

This is a story that dates back into the Middle ages and offers the story about knights, bad guys, good guys and that shows how it's important to defend the weak and poor. It has a high educational value.
Robin Hood, one of the great legends of England, lives again in this re-telling of the famous story. Dressed in Lincoln green, with his longbow never far from his hands, he moves through Sherwood Forest righting the wrongs done by the Sheriff of Nottingham, and his evil henchman, Guy of Guisborne. Robin Hood and his band are living in Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire in England.
Little John, Will Scarlett, Friar Tuck and Lady Marion are all part of the forces of good against the Sheriff and his mysterious sister, the Prioress.
