Children's feet are very delicate and can easily get hurt even by sharp edged pebbles, broken glass pieces and such thrown on roadsides.

Children's shoes should: (1) fit well, (2) be well constructed with arch support, cushioning and extra toe room, (3) be flexible, (4) provide protection from the elements, and (5) be durable.

Keeping up with those growing feet is important.

Children of the same age vary in height and build. Consequently sizing by age can be misleading and is unreliable.

3 years later, Oprah selected UGG® Australia for the second time. She featured the Baby Pink and Baby Blue Classic Boots. The show aired in November, and the boots immediately became the "must-have" item for holiday shoppers.

Lightning struck a third time in 2005, when Oprah featured the Uptown boot on "Oprah's Favorite Things." The results speak for themselves.

From humble beginnings to global success and notoriety, the UGG® story reads like a fairy tale. Children's toenails will grow like adults and should be cut regularly. They should be cut straight across and not too short in order to avoid ingrowing toe nails .

Children's feet sweat more than adults, up to 1 cup of moisture per day. Avoid synthetic nylons or plastic materials.
