There are no unwanted children, just unfoud families!!!
We know that sponsorship works as we have witnessed the amazing difference that it makes - one child at a time. Child sponsorship not only addresses the physical and educational needs of a child, but also contributes to family permanency, allowing children to stay with their families in the country in which they were born. The further we reach, the more likely it is that a child begins the long climb out of poverty toward a more hopeful future. Please help by sharing our mission with loved ones and your community. Families need your help to survive. We need your help to provide the tools and they will be able to flourish.
It is virtually impossible to be immune from the news of these challenging times we live in today. So often we feel unsettled and uncertain. For many that cannot eat today, or even tomorrow and that have no home or family, this is the everyday uncertainty facing orphaned and abandoned children around the world. Imagine a glimpse into the desperation of children who live on the very edge of survival. Their stories are difficult and their options very limited but with us working together, we have demonstrated that there is hope for a brighter future. In keeping families together, we have avoided the placement of children into foster situations. In keeping families together, we have provided a safe, loving, nurturing environment that has already existed. Parents become more happy when they are self sufficient and are able to earn the income they need to raise the standard of living for their family.
Children are more happy when raised in a stable environment that being part of a family contributes to. Any parent will recognize the need of a stabilized family can impact on a child's life.During the past year through the generous financial support of our network of families and friends like you, we will have touched the lives of hundreds of thousands of vulnerable children. Together, we have eased the suffering of children living in institutional care by meeting basic needs such as food, clothing, heat, and hot water, as well as provided specialized equipment and therapy for severely disabled orphans.
We have brought hope to families and communities facing grinding poverty.Child Sponsorship Programs and the construction of schools and medical clinics bring the promise of a better tomorrow. We affirm our hope and certainty that there can be a better tomorrow. I wish you peace, health and happiness as you celebrate the many joys of the season.

I'm making this page about Charity Organization because...
The Orphan Crisis
-There are an additional 20,000,000 "displaced children" in the world
-The combined count of these categories makes the orphan population the 7th largest nation on the planet - slightly larger than the population of Russia
-In Eastern Europe, less than 50% of the orphan population will live to see their 20th birthdays
- In Eastern Europe, of the orphans that survive their 20th birthdays, 50% will end up in organized crime, drugs, or prostitution
-In Africa, homeless children are armed and used for war
-In Africa, there is a concerted effort to extend children's lives beyond 5 years of age
-In the US, 25,000 children will leave the foster care system without families
- 25% of these foster children become homeless,
- 56% of these emancipated foster care children enter the unemployment ranks
-27% of the male children who leave the foster care system end up in jail
- 30% of the female children who leave the foster care system experience early parenthood
- 30,000 children in foster care are simply dropped from state care because they have run away
- In the US, most young adults ages 18 - 24 still live at home with their parents, while approximately 25,000 children are annually released at age 18 from the foster care system without families to support them

FACTS
Africa
is considered the poorest continent on Earth. Seventy-
seven percent of Africans live on less than $2 per day, and women and
children make up the majority of this number.
Easter Europe.
Millions of children in the formerly communist nations of
Eastern Europe have been left behind as their countries made the
transition from centralized economies to free-market capitalism.
While in absolute numbers the number of poor children has fallen in
recent years, advocates and researchers say that a new class of excluded
children is emerging who suffer many of the same problems as children in
the poorest countries of Africa - but receive far less attention.
"Recovery and Reintegration of Children from the Effects of Sexual
Exploitation and Related Trafficking" has been recently published by
OAK Foundation. The publication presents a range of best practices and
interdisciplinary initiatives developed in the field of assistance to
children traumatized by sexual abuse.
Brazil
Estimates of their numbers in Brazil have ranged from 7 to 17 million,
but more informed assessments suggest that between 7 and 8 million
children, ages 5 to 18, live and/or work on the streets of urban Brazil.
Accounts of drug abuse among street youths in Brazil are commonplace.
Numerous scientific studies and media stories have reported the
widespread use of inhalants, marijuana and cocaine, and Valium among
street children.
