    I agree that kids need their own tools. Look at the John Deere wheelbarrow - too cute!

    One thing we have found is to plan a short outing in the garden. We can be out there for hours, but the younger ones attention span isn't that long. Also, the best part about gardening is harvesting so make sure they partake in the picking!
