Child Safety Products - To Keep Your Child Safe
I set up these websites to help parents locate items to keep their children safe in their homes, cars and yards My website has been evaluated and featured in The Niche Store Builder for site design and effectiveness, which has been a very educational process. I just updated my website to BANS-Build a NicheStore Version 3.0...It is awesome!!
My son and daughter-in-law have their home well childproofed for their active 4 year old twins. They are into everything that they can get into. So every time I visit, I find even more things that are under lock and latch, up high or out of the house altogether. It sure is fun chasing after 4 year olds, but there is less chasing to do with the house childproofed. Although, a four year old who likes to pull on things still needs to be watched every second as they are busy, busy, busy! Even all of the precautions have not stopped one of them from pulling over the TV. (He was OK, the TV wasn't.)(They have a new TV (a flat screen) with new precautions (wall mounting - much higher up!!)
My son and daughter in law are now on constant alert for these Very Busy Boys!
Keeping Your Child Safe
When my own children were little, car seats were almost considered a luxury and those who had children more than twenty plus years ago remember that they held their infants in their arms while a spouse drove.
When the infant got bigger they may or may not have had a car seat. Many of us strapped the little one in the passenger seat and used the "arm swing" (your arm swung sideways to prevent your child from going forward when the car stopped)(Not a very safe practice). I even did that to my own mother years after my kids were big and as recently as a year or two ago to a friend.
Fortunately child safety laws, and the introduction of universal use of child seats has made our children much safer. So have the myriad of new child safety products. I'd also recommend drivers take serious on driving test, since it's not a test, but also something related to the life. I saw some guys driving very fast and strange in the town, they need to be reminded, since there're not a few of children often walking and playing.
