A small glimpse of me

Ihold a Masters Degree in Special Education with almost two decades of teaching experience as a classroom teacher and a special education teacher. I have experienced the educational process as a mother, a grandmother, and an educator. I know what it is like to entrust my own child's academic success to the professional expertise of others. I know what it is like, as an educator, to be entrusted with the academic success of your children. Day after day, year after year, your children as my students continue to teach me more than I ever imagined possible when I embarked upon this adventure called "teaching". Throughout the years they have taught me one very simple truth. Make it fun, make it interesting, provide hands on tactile experiences in which children can get involved, and they will experience the joy of becoming life-long learners. I have discovered that children learn best when they are supported with materials and content that intrigue, interest, and fascinate their imaginations. I have used my education and experience over the years to observe what works for kids including my own. I invite you to share with me the joy of teaching and learning for a life time.

Check out the brand new Inner Body Puzzle

Teach your children biology and have fun doing it.

The Inner Body Puzzle

The Inner Body Puzzle is a fun way to teach children the locations of bodily organs. The large 28" x 14" puzzle consists of 15 poly-vinyl pieces, including the Heart, Stomach, and Liver. They are made of durable, fade resistant poly vinyl and will not tear or crack. Each piece is brightly colored and approximately 1/4 " thick. We have only used the best materials to manufacture them.

* ACTIVE LEARNING

Use the Inner Body Puzzle as part of a hands on Active Learning activity. Run relays putting the puzzle together. Call out part names and have the students find the correct part and then place it where it belongs in the puzzle. Use the puzzles's solution guide to help younger children complete the puzzle, while older children are challenged to complete it by memory. Numerous activities abound.

    Games are a great way of improving a kid's IQ.

    Do it when they're young enough and the benefits will stay with them their whole lives.

    Keep up the good work. :)
