How nice is it being outside on the porch talking with family or friends as you relax in a lawn chair, the sun going down and you've got a soda in one hand and some food in the other as you talk about your day. What's nice is the sound the wind makes when it blows the chimes hanging on the porch under-hang ledge.

Usually when I have one chime I can always use another and this is my reason for creating this article with as many cool looking chimes that I could find. If you find one that you like, don't be shy on purchasing it. It's easy for it to be shipped to you and you'll have no department store lines to wait in.

    I'v always like the sound and movement of chimes, and have made several different chimes out of different materials including metal, wood and shells.

    I have been fascinated with all types of wind chimes since I was a little girl and some relatives had a small glass chime in their screened porch, I can hear the sweet tinkles in my memory right now.
