China Anne McClain

Many people are probably most familiar with China through her new hit Disney Channel comedy series A.N.T. Farm.

The show is about a middle school musical prodigy who is newly enrolled in the prestigious A.N.T. (Advance Natural Talents) program at a local high school. McClain plays the character Chyna Parks, an 11-year old fish-out-of-water encountering the sometimes daunting world of high school -- three years earlier than expected. McClain sings and plays the guitar and other instruments on A.N.T. Farm as well as sings the show's opening theme song; "Exceptional." Check it out below.

On June 14, 2011, McClain was signed with Hollywood Records.

The A.N.T. Farm soundtrack was released on October 11, 2011, featuring China Anne's version of "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz. Her version of Dynamite got over 1 million views in less than a week!

On September 28, 2011, China Anne released "Calling All The Monsters" to iTunes. "Calling All The Monsters" charted number 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Impressive or not?

McClain is no stranger to being in front of the camera; she made her film debut as Alexis in the 2005 film The Gospel (she was 6!) and in 2007 starred in Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls. Since 2006 she has played the character Jazmine Payne on Tyler Perry's TBS series House of Payne.
