Chinese Astrology
Maybe you have heard of Chinese Astrology, maybe you have not. Did you know that each animal year corresponds with a Western astrological sign such as Pisces or Scorpio or any of the 12 signs most of us are familiar with? For instance I was born in 1970 which is the year of the dog. The year of the dog is the same as Libra in astrology.
Note: if you were born in January or February you may be the animal of the previous year for instance Oprah was born in January of 1954 but she is year of the snake though that is 1953's animal. This is because the Chinese years are different. Chinese astrology often begins in February, each year is a different day in January or February. If you want to make sure of your exact Chinese sign you can check it out at the big arrow link below. It will take you to the website: http://www.chinesezodiac.com/calculator.php.

Inner and Secret Animal
The inner animals and the secret animals are associated with a person's birth month ( there are 12) and a person's hour of birth ( there are also 12 and they are calculated as 2-hour increments).
The animal representing your birth year determines the "outer" you. The animal representing your birth month determines your "inner" you; the person you wish you could be. And the animal representing your time of birth determines your "secret" you; the person you are but that you prevent the rest of the world from knowing about. So there are three aspects to your animal chart, the year you were born, the month you were born and the hour you were born.
