Chippewa Boots. Made in the USA to be the Best.

Chippewa has a century-long heritage of creating top quality footwear, using only the finest materials available and the most cutting edge construction techniques known. It's part of our mission and our code, something you'll see in every pair of boots we make.

Each pair of Chippewa boots is still made by hand, ensuring that quality is never sacrificed for the sake of mass production. It's this handcrafted commitment that makes Chippewa products superior.

Chippewa Boots History

Since 1901, we have been creating footwear based on simple, fundamental rules. Most importantly, we use only the best materials, the best construction techniques and the most innovative technology. The result -- unquestionably the best boots around. That's what we mean when we say Chippewa Integrity.

Initially, Chippewa started with only logger boots in its product line. Constructed of double and triple leather midsoles and hand-plugged outsole spikes, the logger boots were designed to assist loggers as they rolled the logs down the rivers to the mills. Based on that state-of-the-art boot, Chippewa gained a reputation for quality and began expanding the product line to include more boot categories.

The past century has brought significant changes in the need for quality outdoor work and sport footwear. Chippewa Boots continues to add new products to its inventory to meet the needs of its loyal following. As part of the Justin Brands, Inc. family, quality and craftsmanship continue to be the leading guides in its development, just as it has been for the last 100 years.

Rugged as the land they walk, Chippewa. Live the Spirit.

Chippewa Bison Boots

For centuries, Bison roamed the vast North American plains, grazing the land and providing food, shelter and clothing for Native Americans. These enormous animals are said to have been the most important factor in the survival of the early settlers. The majestic beast was a tough, hardy creature that thrived in almost any condition: snow or sleet, rain or sunshine. No other animal was as influential in the development of the American West as was the bison. Like its namesake, the Bison Stampede Collection from Chippewa performs magnificently in any and all conditions. Bison leather is as supple as it is comfortable. It is more durable than ordinary bovine leather and typically outlasts it by 50% to 80%, even under the harshest conditions. The Bison Stampede Collection is to boots what the bison was to the early Native Americans, a formidable advantage for surviving in extreme circumstances.
