There are still many children out there who may not see a Christmas gift this year. Many of them have lost their loved ones, their homes and beds and their clothes as well as their dearly beloved toys and trinkets.
Hurricane Katrina may have occurred 2005, however she still influences the way the world turns for many children and their families.

I'm not going to give you a line of statistics, they should be easy enough to find while online.
However, I do hope to pull a few heartstrings on behalf of those who still feel the influence and consequences of Hurricane Katrina this Christmas Season.
First you must understand what your pride is, and most surely you do.
Consider if you had to reach out for the help of others.
Suddenly, you find yourself at great odds and the outlook is devastating.
Imagine for a moment...
The waters and or winds have come crashing in upon you. Is there any sense of safety?
Are you safer in your home or on some road somewhere seeking safety while gathering up like cattle with multitudes of others seeking the very same thing, to survive?
While this is going on, there are individual scenarios, of course...
However, there is no question that each life of a Hurricane Katrina Survivor family is deeply influenced.
It is not so easy for Hurricane Katrina Survivors to have to ask for help.
Why do they ask for help, especially during the holiday seasons such as Christmas?
The majority ask for help, for their children.
These children deserve a nice Christmas this year, don't you think?
Soon these little children will be waking up on Christmas morning. They may or may not have a Christmas tree.
However, many may think that Santa can't find them or does not care for them any more.
Isn't it time to reach out and take their hands this year?

Many Hurricane Katrina Survivors have been aided in so many different ways by their heroes.
If you are interested in giving some of the survivors and their children a nice Christmas 2008, you can search around online to find various ways of doing so.
While you are reading these queries for assistance this Christmas, you will notice that one of the most common pleas is for clothing, food, bedding and other general life necessities. Others may need housing assistance or a means of getting back and forth to work in order to be able to afford to rebuild or even have money for clothing and groceries.
