Increase revenue with websites that share revenue with Chitika

As the famous proverb says, we should never rely on a single source of our online income to make money online. Chitika revenue sharing has not been implemented by many websites and most of the revenue sharing websites share revenue with Google AdSense, Amazon and eBay. As you all know, AdSense is such a fickle mistress, and getting banned for no reason is a common issue with most of the AdSense publishers. You don't want to wake up one morning and get the email saying "AdSense Account Disabled", right? Don't worry now, because Chitika earnings sharing is here!

This leaves us to choose more PPC advertising networks - one of which is Chitika. Chitika Advertising Network is one of the biggest and the "bestest" alternatives to Google AdSense and works on the same model i.e. the payments are made on valid clicks. Many publishers even say that Chitika is better than AdSense. So, without wasting much time, let's learn more about revenue sharing with Chitika. These are the websites that pay us using Chitika advertisments.

Advantages and disadvantages of Chitika

Chitika is pay-per-click advertising network which pays you for valid clicks and impressions. Chitika reports take some days to be generated as they are fully audited prior to any release. This means that you'll get hundred percent genuine results a few days back and you won't need to wait at the end of the month to get your earnings finalized.

AdSense vs Chitika

AdSense is known for its strict terms and conditions, policies and behavior. In many cases, it bans the users without any valid reason. On the other hand, Chitika is much more tolerant and much more professional than AdSense (I believe!). Be it customer service or blog, Chitika has always been more supportive than AdSense.

So, I believe Chitika will surely overtake AdSense one day, what do you think? Please leave your view in the poll below! You can also comment as to why do you think that way.

Google AdSense

goo2eyes says:

i also got income from adsense already but i haven't reached my ideal threshhold so they are still withholding the money until i reach the target.

rottenpixies says:

Chitka is decent. Adsense pays way more though.

Chitika

priya-khanna says:

After getting rejected by adsense & then reading the guidelines of adsense and Adsense alternatives I decided to choose chitika :D.

goo2eyes says:

i choose chitika because i got some income already from chitika.

yarddog2k says:

I had AdSense on my personal website for almost 2 years. I was getting 5000+ visitors a month, and could barely reach the payout threshold every couple of months. I switched to Chitika in October 2011 and have doubled my CTR and earnings with about the same amount of traffic. Chitika's payment threshold is much lower and easier to reach every month.

Chitika Online Advertising Network

Alternative for Yahoo Publisher Network

Chitika and Yahoo! Publisher NetworkThe main thing to keep in mind for Chitika is that Chitika ads only show up when you get traffic from search engines. If you get traffic from social networks, blogs or any other forms of referral traffic, then Chitika ads are not displayed. This is a huge advantage for blogs and websites which don't want to annoy their regular loyal visitors.

In the mean time, ads are directly targeted for the search engine visits which increases the click through rate; thus increasing the payment for clicks. This can be advantageous for websites getting tons of organic traffic but a disadvantage to blogs with low organic traffic.

Infobarrel is a Chitika revenue sharing website

Get up to 90% ad impressions on Infobarrel

Infobarrel is my favorite. As many of us know, Infobarrel is a revenue sharing website which shares 75% impressions on our contents. It does not share revenue (to be precise), it shares impressions. But guess what, 75% is just the beginning, you can increase this to 90% every month. Infobarrel organizes a contest every month from which we users can increase our ad impression percentage to 90% by writing articles.

Every article that has 1000+ words will get 5 points. At the end of the month, if your total point are above 30, your ad share is increased to 90%. This is huge, I cannot imagine a revenue sharing website sharing 90% impressions.

Amazon Gift cards for Infobarrel contest winners

If you manage to secure highest number of points, you will get an Amazon $100 Gift Card. If you come second, you get a $50 gift card and $25 gift card if you come up third. Owing to all these plus points, Infobarrel comes first in the list of Chitika Revenue Sharing Websites.

Bukisa

Share your knowledge and get paid

Bukisa is a really popular revenue sharing website and one of the oldest as well. Bukisa used to pay its publishers for every view to their articles according the Bukisa Index. For example, if the Bukisa Index was $4, then the publishers would get $4 for one thousand views to their articles. But due to the fake traffic and spam back links, Bukisa discontinued this feature and now they share revenue via ...... yes you guessed it right Chitika (and Google AdSene too).

Secrets about Revenue Sharing Websites

Making money from revenue sharing websites like AdSense and Chitika is not always the best option to make money online. it is always best t diversify your income throughout the web. Who knows, you are going to be deleted for no valid reason?

Revenue vs Impressions Share on Bukisa

While Infobarrel shows both Chitika and Google AdSense ads at the same time, its not the way Bukisa shows the ads. They allow either Google AdSense or Chitika advertisements. Bukisa shares 60% REVENUE with Google AdSense and 60% IMPRESSIONS with Chitika. It means that your AdSense ads will be shown every time but will be splitted up by Google, but your Chitika ads will be shown 60% of the time.

Advantage of using Chitika for Bukisa users

Chitika revenue sharing on Bukisa is advantageous to the publishers whose articles are not compliant with Google AdSense policies like gambling and prescription drugs. This is also beneficial to those who are having a hard time getting accepted for Google AdSense.

Squidoo - Chitika Revenue Sharing website

Yes, Squidoo is also a website that shares Chitika revenue. The amount of Chitika money you make depends on what tier you are in. If your lenses belong to the first tier, you get the maximum amount of money per lens. Due to the click fraud issue, payments for pay-per-click ads are made via ad pool.

Update: Chitika Revenue Sharing Feature on Squidoo has been discontinued as of November 2011. The final Chitika payment was issued to the lensmasters on January 12, 2012 for earnings until November 2011.

Seekyt is a Chitika revenue sharing website

Go to seekyt.comNot after a long time the Seekyt admin decided to look for more alternatives to Google AdSense and Amazon Associates program, the website faced a big trouble with AdSense. Reportedly, one of the site's users did not notify about violation notification sent by Google AdSense, and the entire site was forced to remove AdSense ads.

This is a good news for some great writers who were not allowed to create AdSense account or wanted an alternative. Seekyt now has built Chitika revenue sharing feature and is working on Infolinks as well. If everything goes well, Seekyt will probably be the first revenue sharing website which has no support for AdSense.

However, the administrator has promised a different neat, clean and AdSense-focused website for top writers only.

Anyways, enjoy Seekyt!

Payment Options for Chitika Publishers

Chitika Payments via PayPalChitika is not a scam. It is 100% genuine and legit. Chitika currently offers 2 payment options:

Chitika payment by PayPal: The payment threshold is only $10, so it is quite advantageous as opposed to the $100 of Google AdSense. If you cannot receive payments via PayPal (for example: PayPal is not available in Pakistan and Bangladesh), then choose the check option.

Chitika payment by Check: The minimum payment for check is $50 but you can set it above $50 too. Check are for those Chitika publishers who cannot receive payment via PayPal or where PayPal is not available.

What is favorite website to earn income from Chitika?

Chitika is more user friendly and doesn't take away your income without any reason, like adsense do !
  • Dolphin772004 May 3, 2012 @ 3:14 am | delete
Chitika is another source of income which you can get from your blogs, I also like the low payout to my paypal account. I am also a writer at infobarrel and seekyt which help to increase my earnings.
  • srk4you May 3, 2012 @ 7:32 am | delete
Thank you for stopping. Yes, their low payout helps us get some hosting and costs. Infobarrel was one of the first websites that introduced Chitika revenue sharing feature and I like them most. Seekyt is also a great site.
  • seriousnuts Mar 18, 2012 @ 9:28 pm | delete
Thanks for the information. I didn't know that Chitika only displays ads to viewers coming from search engines. So far, I get more luck with another ad network, Infolinks. But I would still continue using Chitika as it looks very promising.
  • srk4you Mar 19, 2012 @ 10:26 pm | delete
Nice to see you again Seriousnuts! I had an account with Infolinks but hadn't used for 6 months, so that account is now gone. They have asked me to open another account. Thanks fore reminding about it, and it's nice to see you around. Don't be a stranger okay!
