Chiweenies are such fun!
Chiweenies are great pets for kids. They are a mix between a Chihuahua and a dachshund. Some of them look a little more like a chihauhau and some come out more like a dachshund. Some have big ears and some big noses, but they're all so cute. They are very smart dogs. They usually have a shorter back than a dachshund does, so it's easier for them to be played with by kids. They are so good natured and love being played with. They are still small dogs with small bladders so they need more trips outside than larger dogs, but other than that pure joy.

Here's one small example of the intelligence of the chiweenie dog. Our dog used to put his toys away on command, and I saw another video of a chiweenie named Rose who shows you her ears when asked. So cute.
