Chococat
Chococat is just another lovable character from Sanrio, the makers of Hello Kitty and more. He is the ever popular little black cat that is NOT bad luck! You can find him in everything from cartoons to lots of different products. While typically black with a blue collar ,he comes in many different colors and styles, and is often depicted with one of his many adorable friends. Who is Chococat?
According to Sanrio "Although this little boy cat tends to be a little scatterbrained at times, he's always up on the latest news (thanks to his ultra-sensitive 'antenna' whiskers). He gets his name from his chocolate-covered nose. He has fun playing around his house (the 'Choco-choco' house)with his friends Cookie-bau, Nutz, Jellybean, and the Duckies. His birthday is May 10th." On Wikipedia
Chococat is one of the many fictional characters produced by Japanese corporation Sanrio. He is drawn as a black cat with big eyes, four whiskers, and like counterpart Hello Kitty, no mouth. His name comes from his chocolate-coloured nose. Like other Sanrio characters, he appears on a variety of merchandise, including stationery, coffee mugs, plush toys, bath towels, etc.When Sanrio releases new Chococat lines, the background colors and designs, Chococat's collar and fur color, and his accessories and friends are often altered. Chococat was originally pictured with a blue collar, but he has since been depicted wearing different colored collars, scarves, and even a lei. Sanrio has also produced new Chococat products that portray him in a greyish-brown color. In the Momoberry version, he is pink with a top hat, bow tie, and cane. Line names are often heavily relied upon in internet sales descriptions.
Chococat's Friends
His Friends are Cookie-Bau the dog, Jelly Bean the bunny, Nutz the hamster, and Duckies the duck family.
Cookie-Bau
One of Chococat's closest friends, Cookie Bau loves making cookies as much as eating them. Don't let his size fool you: despite being small, this little dog can easily lift heavy objects. He is very trustworthy and dependable.Trivia: Bau is sometimes spelled as "Bow," as in "Bow wow wow."
Jellybean
A very curious little bunny, Jellybean especially loves poking his nose into candy jars. He's very generous though, and that's why his friends love him - since he shares his candies with them! Nutz
A warm-hearted and a very friendly hamster, he got his name not only because he was born high on top of a walnut tree, but also because he usually can be found dancing on top of his hoard of nuts. While he can be busy gathering his favorite food, he is also quite willing to spend the day doing nothing in particular. Duckies
