- Prep Time: owen heat 300 F
- Total Time: 65 min

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Unsalted Butter
- 4 cups Burdick's Shaved Dark Chocolate
- 4 Eggs
- 3/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 3/4 cups Sugar
- 1/2 cup Flour
Instructions
Whip eggs, salt & sugar for 5 minutes until light and fluffy. Melt butter and chocolate together. Pour chocolate mixture into eggs, stir gently until combined, then add flour. Pour into a generously buttered 13" x 9" baking pan and bake at 300° for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out without "cakey" crumbs.

1/2 cup Burdick's shaved chocolate
(our favorite is dark chocolate)
1/8 cup Milk
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon butter
Microwave for 30 seconds then remove.
Whisk to a velvety consistency, and serve.
Delicious over ice cream and adds a
decadent finish to brownies à la mode!
MAKING the desserts
less sugar is needed with strong aromas like coffe beens and dark chocolate
less or no sugar into the dessert recipes. Also dried fruits in fillings and of course fresh berries and fruits as a topping.
Mix and try different combinations. Have you tried to make your topping of fine dark chocolate and with hazelnuts,
or peanut filling ? At least I am drooling. And what also goes well with dark chocolate are fresh or frozen blue berries
in filligs, organges, mint ,and perhaps straw berries but it takes probably a lot of cream or someting to it, if you know what I mean?

Gourmet fondue from Burdick recipe site
Have you ever been at a gourmet restaurant ,having a chocolate fondue?

Ingredients
- 1/3 c whipping cream
- 8 ounces of shaved chocolate
- 3 tablespoons of Grand Marnier (optional)
Instructions
Bring whipping cream to simmer in heavy saucepan. Reduce heat to low and add shaved chocolate and 1 tbs Grand Marnier. Whisk until smooth. Add additional liqueur and transfer to fondue bowl. Serve with fresh fruit, sponge cake pieces and lady fingers.
Directions:
Place on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Prepare chocolate according to directions in a separate saucepan. Pour melted chocolate into the fondue pot and place over the rechaud base. Place a tea light into the base and light. To thin chocolate add milk or cream a spoonful at time. If chocolate level reaches 1/4" extinguish flame as pot may break. Cool pot before washing in warm, soapy water.
