Chocolate Cake for Lovers Frosting Suggestion #1
Decorate with Valentine's Candy and food coloring if desired.

If you'd like to make a white, pink or red frosting, this recipe will serve you well. It colors up nicely with food coloring you may purchase at the time you buy your ingredients for this cake. The trick to this is to beat the butter until it is fluffy, before you add the sugar and Vanilla Extract. The milk should be added a few drops at a time, so as not to make the frosting too thin. You may not need to use the entire amount of milk.

- Hubby and I love chocolate cake ... we make it for each other's birthday, our anniversary, Valentine's Day - any reason at all to bake chocolate cake. We have a favorite recipe but I may give this one a try next time it's a baking occasion. Linking to my yummiest chocolate cake lens because you can never have too many chocolate cake recipes, nor can you ever have too much chocolate or love.
