Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cinnsation Cookies

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cinnsation Cookies are a recipe my 4 year old daughter and I made up this year based on a bisquick oatmeal raisin recipe I found online. We omitted the raisins and added lots of chocolate chips, vanilla and extra cinnamon. I hope you enjoy these cookies as much as we do.

Organic Vanilla Extract

Imitation vanilla is no substitute for the real stuff. We add vanilla extract to coffee, cocoa, pancakes, waffles, french toast and Coke, just to name a few. The organic fair trade vanilla tastes great, is good for my family and is good for the world.

I'm a big fan of the Oatmeal Raisin and Snickerdoodle. The concept of Chocolate, Cinnamon AND oatmeal makes my mind explode. I think I just gained weight reading this lens. Interesting taste palette. Thanks!

I like to add cinnamon into my hot chocolate. I like the way they taste together.

Try adding cinnamon and a little cayenne pepper, too.

If you have never used parchment for baking then you should definatly give it a try. I only first started using it a couple of years ago, but now I always use it. It makes baking so much easier. The cookies slide right off the parchment requirin g no greasing of the cookie sheet. Also, clean up is a breeze - just toss the used parchment into the aper recycle bin. Put a new piece of parchment down and you are ready for the next batch; no need to wash and dry the baking sheet.
