Chocolate Covered Strawberries Recipe
Deeeeeelish! Make them for your sweetie!
- Serves: 5-8
- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Total Time: 70 minutes
This is the perfect gift of love for your favorite person(s) or for yourself! it only takes a little bit of time and patience and the ingredients list is tiny! Make these and your loved ones will be at your beck and call.
Ingredients
- 5 oz. bittersweet chocolate - chopped or chips
- 1 pint of fresh strawberries with leaves
Instructions
1. Choose your style of melting the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, or in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, cook chocolate until melted. It's handy to stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth - this helps you keep the chocolate from burning.
2. Holding the strawberries by the stem, dip each one in the melted chocolate, about three-quarters of the way to the stem. Then, place, stem side down, on wire rack and chill in refrigerator until hardened.
3. Serve with Martinelli's Sparkling apple juice or Champagne!

Make sure your strawberries are at room temperature, then wash them (they can be sandy) and always dry them (pat with a kitchen towel) before you dip them in the chocolate or they will get mushy really fast.
