Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

I have to confess...chocolate chip cookies are my biggest weakness.

In fact, I could be accused of using them like vitamins - I take at least one a day to keep the doctor away. ;-)

Needless to say, I feel like I've tried every chocolate chip cookies recipe out there - the good, the bad and the not-so-chocolatey, so if you're looking for some tips from a true choco chip cookie enthusiast, you've come to the right place.

There are so many sites out there with so many recipes, but I found that I never really knew what I was getting...it was basically a crap-shoot, and I got tired of all the failed attempts at making good (and I mean really good) chocolate chip cookies from the recipes I found.

I also happen to like recipes that are at least semi-healthy, because when you're like me and you eat chocolate chip cookies like they're vitamins...well, let's just say a girl's gotta watch that her sugar intake doesn't exceed her leafy green veggies intake!

Now don't get me wrong; I love to bake and I love to experiment with new recipes, but there is a limit to my endurance when I end up spending way more hours scouring the internet for good chocolate chip cookie recipes than I ever do baking or eating them.

Luckily, all my searching and experimenting finally paid off and I found a great chocolate recipes site, and that's where I go every time I need a do-it-yourself chocolate fix.

In fact, I love it so much I don't even bother wasting my time searching the web for recipes anymore. What a relief!

Kristy over at ChocoFactory has created what I like to call "chocolate heaven".

It's heaven because you're surrounded by hundreds of gourmet chocolate and dessert recipes all in one place, and you can download them and watch the step-by-step videos.

I also like the fact that the recipes are health-conscious, which is a real bonus for those of us who like to indulge regularly in decadent chocolate treats!

Not only that, they update the site with new recipes on a regular basis, a real bonus considering you only pay once for everything (and it's not more than the cost of a cookbook).

Of course the main reason I got ChocoFactory is because I figure it's going to take me at least several lifetimes to get through every chocolate chip cookies recipe!

(There are 200 of them to drool over)

And that's in addition to all the other chocolate and dessert recipes you get...you'll never go through chocoholic withdrawal symptoms again. ;-)

So save yourself some time and get yourself a regular chocolate fix that you can trust. You deserve it!

Joy Of Cooking

Many of my readers are searching for a chocolate chip cookies recipe from the classic cookbook, Joy of Cooking, by Irma Rombauer.

Irma has an amazing story. Did you know that she self-published the first edition of Joy of Cooking at age 54 in the midst of the depression? That's my kinda woman!

Here are a few of her books to check out on Amazon.

No-Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

Something a little different from your average chocolate chip cookies recipe...

No-Bake Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie

This recipe is easy, as it requires no cooking. Yum!

* 1 (8-ounce) (240g) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Procedure:

1. Dip 8 cookies in milk, then place in a single layer in graham cracker crust. Top with one-third of the whipped topping.

4. Cover and chill 8 hours before serving.

Yields 8 servings.
