    Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Wait til I get to the office to use this phrase. The only thing missing from the Lens is ice cream to go with the cookies. Thank you for making me smile.

    Thanks! I promise you will like any of these recipes that you try. Also, I wanted to let you know that I think a couple of your comments on another lens or two weren't published for some reason. I'm going to try to figure out what happened but just want you to know that I do read and appreciate all comments and just don't want you to think I deleted anything. Because I didn't! :-)

    I know...I love chocolate chip cookies that much, too. My personal favorites are the thin and crispy version and the Adirondack recipe. But I wouldn't turn down any of them!

    What's the difference between shortening and butter? Also, you forgot to include the giggling Pillsbury Doughboy Cookie Jar! :)

    If a recipe calls for butter, the cookies will be thin and crispy and if the recipe calls for shortening, the cookies will be softer. Thanks for asking!

    Definitely my absolute favorite cookie. I like mine crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I guess you could say they are a tad undercooked. And cookie dough! Yum, must have some of that while preparing.

    There are so many fantastic recipes and delicious pictures here... this lens is now officially one of my favorites! I like both crispy and chewy type cookies, so it was great to find out how to make one or the other. The zucchini cookies sound so tasty, as to do the Adirondack camp cookies. I wanna try 'em all!

    Oh man. This is my type of lens. I love chocolate chip cookies. I'll eat them any way I can get them. I'll have to try all of these recipes. Too bad I found this lens at the time I'm starting to diet. But, I'll have to see how I can bake them without eating them all myself. A true test for me. lol 5 stars, favorite and I'm now a big FAN!     Cheryl, your lens has held me hostage! I love chocolate chip cookes (probably too much), and I learned a lot about the soft vs crispy cookie. Had no idea that all brown sugar would create a softer result. Making a note of that...

    I love to bake and everyone loves just about everything I cook and I'm about to share my number one baking secret...instead of using shortening or vegetable oil I use coconut oil. It gives baked goods an out of this world great taste!

    I enjoyed your lens.

    I love this lens! (How did I miss it before??) I'm a Toll House recipe lover, but I wouldn't pass up a chocolate chip cookie even if it were old and stale. Well, maybe then but it would have to be pretty old and pretty stale! Love the cookie charm!

    I can't wait to give your recipes a try. My chocolate chip cookies ALWAYS turn out flat and ugly so I gave up making them long ago. I love anything with zucchini so I think that will the first on my list, -wish me luck! :)

    Hi Cheryl -- this is an absolutely yummy 5* lens! I like my chocolate chip cookies chewy and with nuts! You are spot-on with regards to starting with a scratch potato salad recipe as I'm sure after reading this lens that you would make a tasty salad indeed. ;-)

    Chocolate Chip Cookies are my favorite. I get a lot of comments on my cookies. I follow the Toll House Recipe but instead of margarine or butter, I use the Crisco Butter flavored bars. Amazing what a difference it makes - cookies are puffier rather than flat. MMMMMMM makes me want to bake some.
