I started my Chocolatier career in November 2007 and I just love it! I don't know if I am able to adequately express how wonderful this venture has been for me. I am having so much fun, learning so much and growing as a person, along with making so many new friends and earning an income to pay my bills. It feels wonderful to share products with others who love them as I do, and to be able to offer this wonderful opportunity to others, especially during a recession. This is work you can start right away.
It's fun and easy, and I love having the freedom to be creative and to work as little or as much as I want. This fits wonderfully into my lifestyle as I have another full-time career that requires extras hours. The flexibility makes it easy for me to grow my Dove business while at my current job. If offers a wonderful opportunity to moms with childern at home too.
The company and my fellow chocolatiers are all amazingly supportive, so you never feel like you are alone. There are a variety of conference calls, training materials, training sessions, and networking vehicles available for all chocolatiers as well. Our conferences are amazing.
I have never been "handy in the kitchen", so I think my friends found it quite amusing when I first donned my apron and started showing others how to make easy chocolate treats and desserts. But they ARE EASY!!I can make them - so anyone can! And the products or so delicious, I need only to present samples and speak honestly about how wonderful they are all. It is that simple.
I now have a team throughout the United States and was one of just 15 in the company to earn an amazing trip to Chocolate School! It's been amazing, and my business continues to grow!

Recipe - Truffle Berry Brownie Trifle
Easy
ingredients:
¾ cup heavy cream,
1/3 cup milk,
¾ pan DOVE Chocolate Discoveries%u2122 (DCD) Truffle Fudge Brownie Mix - baked and cut into 1" squares,
1 packet DCD Frosty White Chocolate Smoothie Mix,
1 pint strawberries - quartered (16 oz.),
½ pint raspberries (6-8 oz.),
2 batches DCD Chocolate Mousse Mix,
DCD Milk Chocolate Ruffle or Chef Series Milk or Dark Chocolate shavings - for garnish
preparation
1. Using an electric mixer with the whisk attachment, whip together the heavy cream and milk. Slowly add the Frosty White Chocolate Smoothie Mix packet and whip until soft peaks form. Refrigerate and reserve.
2. Prepare 2 batches of the Chocolate Mousse Mix; do not refrigerate or it will become too stiff to spread.
3. In the bottom of a large trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place ½ of the Mousse. Arrange ½ of the brownie chunks, raspberries and strawberries on top. Spread ½ of the White Chocolate mixture evenly over the top.
4. Repeat all layers.
5. Garnish the top of the trifle with chocolate ruffles or shaved chocolate.
