*Who is DOVE Chocolate Discoveries?
DOVE Chocolate Discoveries launched in February 2007 and is headquarterd in New Jersey. The latest venture from Mars, Inc., Mars was founded in 1911 and manufacturers and markets iconic brands including the original DOVE Chocolate, M&M's, Snickers, Three Musketeers and Milky Way. Mars is a family-owned business with global annual sales of more than $21 billion. They changed their name to DOVE Chocolate Discoveries effective 8/1/08

*Can you purchase DOVE Chocolate Discoveries products in the stores?
No, DOVE Chocolate Discoveries products are sold exclusively through independent chocolatiers through in home tasting parties.

*How Much Can I earm?
Your profit is based on 25% commissions on your retail sales. Each month you can qualify for our "sweet Seller" bonus and earn and additional 5%, 10% or 15%. Plus, as you build a team you can earn even more.

*How am I paid?
Chocolatiers are paid twice a month through direct deposit. Commission periods end on the 15th and last day of the month and we are paid shortly after.

*Are there are any quotas?
Chocolatiers do not need to meet any monthly quotas but need to submit a minimum $200 in sales each 3-month rolling period. There are sales minimums as you reach different levels within the company.

*How many tastings do I need to hold?
There are NO requirements. We suggest that you hold a minimum of 4 shows within your first 30 days of business. You'll not only start earning money and get comfortable with holding shows, but you will also be rewarded through our fast start program.

*Do I pay for any of the Hostess benefits?
No! These are all paid by the company.

*Who pays the tax and shipping?
Hostesses and guests pay their own tax and shipping. Hostesses receive FREE shipping when they hold a qualified party.

* What is a qualified party?
When show sales reach $200 or more, this is considered a qualified party.

*Who pays for Credit Card processing?
DOVE Chocolate Discoveries handles all credit card processing and do not charge consultants a fee. We currently accept MC & VISA.

*Do I have to deliver the products?
All parties are shipped directly to the hostess with bags for her to deliver to her guests. Guests also have an option to direct ship.

*Do I need to keep inventory?
No! DOVE Chocolate Discoveries does not recommend that you keep any inventory.

*Do I have to submit sales tax to my state?
No! You collect the sales tax for each order and DOVE Chocolate Discoveries submits to the proper authorities.

*How much will it cost to get started?
Starter kit for only $149 - this kit does not include the tempering unit which significantly reduces the cost of the kit.

*How much are catalogs and other business supplies?
Catalogs are .25cents a piece; other supplies are also reasonably priced

*Do I receive a discount?
Yes, you receive 25% off all retail purchases

*What experience do I need?
No experience is necessary. A desire to start your own business along with enthusiasm to learn is all you need. I am committed to helping you in building your business

*What kind of training is available?
There are weekly conference calls, updates and monthly newsletters. There are also regional and national trainings. Our team holds weekly conference calls, monthly meetings, monthly newsletters and email updates.

*Do consultants have their own web sites?
Yes. They are replicated websites. The first two months are free and after that, there is a charge of $7.95 per month.

*Does the company offer incentives?
Yes! You can earn FREE products, business supplies and more. As we grow, expect to see more incentives and trips. My team offers their own incentives - currently we are offering a cruise for new managers.

*Are there limits or territories?
No! There are no territories you can recruit and hold shows in open states in the United States.

*Is there a renewal fee?
No! There is no annual renewal fee

*Are there advertising restrictions?
No! But you MUST identify yourself as an independent chocolatier with DOVE Chocolate Discoveries and NOT an employee.
