Gourmet chocolates for your Valentine...nothing sweeter!

There's nothing sweeter to receive or to give for Valentine's Day than gourmet chocolates. A chocolate bar will do for everyday munching, but for Valentine's Day, it should be something really special. Godiva Chocolates, Ghirardelli Chocolates, Lindt Chocolates, Belgian Chocolates, all can be found here on this page, and can be shipped directly to your loved one or to you to present in person.

I hope to GET chocolates from my Valentine.

i'd BETTER be getting chocolate! ;)

joycetmann says:

No, but he can dream about chocolate! He has to watch his diet. (maybe I'll sneak in some Valentine's Day chocolate for myself.)

vallain says:

Actually my sweetie doesn't like to encourage my sweet tooth, so maybe I'll buy myself some chocolates at the after-valentine's day sales.

Some words of love to accompany your gift of chocolates.

Valentine's Day ~ A traditional day to express your affection

Valentine's Day is a shortened version of the original Saint Valentine's Day, and is an annual day we use for expressing our love and affection for another. At one time it was only for lovers, but it has become popular to send gifts or cards to family members and those we care about. Still, the most traditional reason for this day, always on February 14th, is the expression of intimate love between two people. It first became associated with romantic love in what is known as the High Middle Ages, (11th, 12th and 13th centuries) when the act of courting a possible love interest became extremely popular. In modern days, it is a usual thing for people in love to present various gifts to each other in celebration of their love. Many couples become engaged or married on this day, making it easy to remember in later years.

I'm a plain old Hershey's girl but my Mom loved Whitman's chocolates so I always get her a box for Valentine's Day. I think I'd better hide the box though this year - I think too much chocolate for a 95 year old can't be a good thing...
