Basic chocolate recipes

These are the simplest chocolate recipes in the game. The Basic Squares require only two ingredients, but the other chocolate square recipes require three. Some can actually sell quite well despite their simplicity, especially the squares that need rare ingredients.

Chocolate infusions recipes

Get the Infusion upgrade as soon as you can. It starts helping you diversify your chocolate portfolio. Many of the Infusion recipes use the same ingredients as Squares, just in different proportions. It may take you a while to unlock the last few Infusions because they require rare ingredients or rare cacao beans that can be quite expensive. Use your research lab!

Several chocolate sauce recipes

The Sauces can command a much higher price than Squares and Infusions. Although each recipe does not use more than four ingredients, the factory setup part is a little different. You'll notice when you give it a try. These recipes are very seasonal, so pick to make the sauce with the in-season (cheaper) ingredients.

Pralines are considerably more difficult to make. Not only do they require five ingredients, oftentimes, they require five different ingredients. This typically limits your factory production. Furthermore, several recipes require more than one rare ingredient. Not cheap to make but can turn a nice profit.

Truffles are the next level up, requiring six ingredients for each chocolate. One ingredient, of course, must be truffle powder, which can be very expensive to buy. However, truffles sell for over $10,000 per case, many of them can easily go above $20,000. Truffles are must haves, and you can't beat the game without them.
