Are you tired of running out of closet space with nowhere to store extra items? Most of us have too many items to store in our closet so we have to look for alternative storage methods. I simply got tired of using storage boxes to contain my extra garments in the attic. They would constantly smell musty and damp when I went to retrieve them. I got fed up so I decided to look into portable closets. It was the best decision I have ever made and now im gonna show you why.

A portable closet also referred to as a portable wardrobe is typically made of plastic or metal and covered in a canvas material with zippers for closure. They generally come in a plethora of colors including black, white, navy and tan to name a few. Most are designed to stand alone as well as fold up when not being used but often come with rollers to be moved around if need be. NOTE: Wardrobe cabinets made of wood are also usable however portability becomes an issue but ill get to those later.

They typically range in size from 36-60 inches or 3-6 ft tall. You can use a portable closet for all sorts of purposes such as extra clothing storage or even to transfer items from one place to another. They are great for adding extra storage in rooms that are out of the way such as the garage or attic but also used often in spare rooms. Most portable closets have zippers to seal out moisture and mildew that can damage valuable clothing.
