List of Easy to Do Crafts for Christian Evangelism

This is a list of easy to do Christian ministry craft projects for your teen, adult, or Sunday School group. My attempt here is to show you how you can create Christian arts and crafts projects that help with the Great Commision given to us by Christ to evangelize and make disciples. I believe we can do this through craft gifts with messages of love and hope for the orphaned, the widowed, the lonely, down trowded, and especially the sprititually lost.

We craft lovers make beautiful handmade gifts to give to our family and friends but would you be willing to take some of that craft talent for folks who are strangers, people in despair , those who may spiritually and physically Need your Chrstian Crafts. Your love of Christ and a willingness to serve are the primary tools necessary.

Knifty Knitter Hats

Project #1

Knifty Knitter Hat with Fabric FlowerKnitting a hat with the Knifty Knitter is EASY. No EXPERIENCE NECESARY If you can pull a loop of yarn over a peg you can make a hat.

For instructions on this project. Click Here .

To make it a more manly hat just don't turn it inside out, which is what I did to this hat and most importantly, Don't put the fabric flowers.

Tabletop Garden
For Nursing Homes

Tabletop Garden

Project #2

Many folks in nursing homes have not been able to enjoy gardening because of physical limitations. A table top garden puts this joy filled practice up off the ground. The instructional video will give you one that is a bit different. Consider painting the holder with pretty scenes and bible verses.

You can make a smaller version for a window in a small bedroom.

type=textAfter these moms have made the decision to keep their precious babies lets help them tell their family members in a special way with unique handmade cards.

Birth Announcement by: www.card-making-corner.com There are A LOT of really nice card projects on this site.

Consider pre-printing the inside of the card with Generic Information that can be completed by the mom like Baby's Name, Time and Date of Birth, Length and Weight. Another option is to print this on separate paper , cut and paste to cards once the cards are completed

Decorated CD Holder

Project #4

I like this for Soldiers overseas who often need a word of encouragement. Send a copy your favorite sermon and a couple of your favorite Christian songs or hymns in a beautiful handmade CD holder . Print your favorite verse on the cover. This is also great to send to college students and missionaries.

Craft Project #5

Hair Accesories
For Operation Christmas Child

Hair Accesories

Project #5

fabric felt flowerBy attaching a ponytail holder, hair clip or headband to the back of this fabric flower you can create beautiful hair accesories. I love to box up dozens of these and drop them off at my local Operation Christmas Child relay center. This is an awesome Christian project. They send millions of gif-filled shoe boxes along with the gospel to poor, negleted and abanded children around the world. But Many shoeboxes arrive at the centers with very little content and so the volunteers use donated items to fill the boxes up.

Craft Project #6

Bookmarks with a Message
For Bible Distribution

Book Marks with a Message

Project #6

Bookmark with bible verseI love to include a bookmark when I give a bible. Especially the economy bible that are usually used for evangelism because they don't come with the included satin string most high-end bibles include.

Bookmarks are the easiest and most versatile craft you can make. Just cut a card stock paper to about 2x6 (it can be a little longer/shorter, wider or narrow depending on your personal preference and then have at it. Add layers upon layers of cut-outs and clippings and just about anything your heart desires. I REALLY like to glue bible verses to mine.

Craft Project #7

Pillowcases with Bible Verse
For Hospital Patients

Pretty Pillow Cases

Project #7

Jack Dempsey Stamped PillowcasesHand or machine embroidering or iron on transfers are great ways to get on message on cotton material. On your computer (preferably an inkjet) you can print out your favorite verse with a pretty design on Iron On Transfer Paper. Transfer your art to the edge of a cotton pillow case according to the manufacturer's instructions. . Roll it up put a bow on it and take a card put an encouraging note, punch a hole in the card, attach the card to the bow. TAADA a great gift for someone in a hospital and in need of something to lift their spirits.

Note: You put the message on the edge of the pillow case so that the persons face is not constantly rubbing on the art work.

If your even a little crafty - You can always use embroidery or cross stitch. Stamped pillowcases like the one in the picture make it VERY easy. Cross stitching is actually a lot easier then it seems.
