Oh My God...I Love You!
God was in my first memories of my life and he has been there almost every day since. Looking back over my memories I shudder at how they would have changed for the worse if I hadn't known God. The Bible, inspirational books by authors such as Corrie ten Boom, Catherine Marshall,Joyce Meyer,Beth Moore, Charles Stanley, Zig Ziggler and others have pulled me through hard times. Although I'd never put myself in the same catagory as these brothers and sisters, I pray that my devotions and writtings will help others get though their day with a song in their heart, and praise on their lips.

What in the World Would I Do Without My Heavenly Father?
Faith. That's what it's all about for christians. Unbelievers ask or wonder how I can believe in something I can't see. For me, I think I can describe it best in a little "praise poem" I wrote that goes something like this:
UNSEEN FORCES
The wind
You can't see it,
but you can feel it-
and you know its there.
It has the power to rip even the mightiest tree
from the ground.
God
You can't see Him
But you can feel Him
And you know He's there.
He has the power to turn even the most wretched
mans life around.
Unseen forces
You see towns turned upside down by the wind
And frowns turned upside down by God's love.
No, you can't see God
But you can feel Him.
You will see Him everywhere if you look around
This is where true peace and joy are found.

So you see, you can see evidence of God in his handiwork. Look around today...look, around.

I Saw Jesus
His Love For Me... So Undeserved
When I was finally so low that I could reach up and touch down, a miracle happened. A friend of mine that I hadn't seen in several years had come to visit me. She met me at my work with was also my own business. I was on a lesson dancing with a student wrapping up our dance lesson, so I told my friend to have a seat she could watch as we finished up. As the last dance played I made a few corrections on some missed steps my student made when I unconciously looked over at my friend. She smiled, I smiled back and continued dancing and instructing. A second time I glanced over and thought I was going crazy! Jesus' face was peaking out where hers should have been, and he was smiling at me...at ME!
At a point in my life where I couldn't stand myself, hated myself even, Jesus showered me with his love and mercy. This is the love I'd been longing for my entire life, unconditional love. What a glorious love it is...my prayer is that you have experienced it as well. And if you haven't...go. Search for it, never rest until you have a personal relationship with Him. It's a glorious thing!
