Creative Ideas For Christian Women's Ministry
Is your Christian women's ministry in need of creative ideas that will strengthen the ministry and encourage attendance? This article will discuss some great ministry ideas are sure to be a success for your ministry.Living a Christian life guided by the principles and teachings of the Bible is the focus of many women's lives today. A great idea would be to have a Bible study that helps women live a devoted Christian lifestyle.
Have the women discuss issues and situations that affect them on a daily basis, and then develop your Bible study on ways that the Bible, and faith in God, can help them work through these issues and situations. Not only would this be interesting and informative, it would also be a great way to help the women who are in need of emotional and spiritual support.
Does your Christian women's ministry need more money to fund the fun and exciting ideas that you have planned? You can plan some creative ways for you to host fundraisers. One fun and creative way to raise funds would be to make and sell some "gifts in a jar" recipes.
These are very popular jars that contain all of the dry ingredients that are needed to bake a specific pastry or other treat. Start by encouraging the people of your church to donate the materials and the jars. Then schedule a time for the women to meet and assemble the jars. With donations, you will have very little actual expense. When the jars are finished, the women in the ministry can sell them at craft bazaars or before and after church. This is a great way for you to be creative and make money at the same time.
Another great idea for a fundraiser is to create a Christian women's ministry cookbook. This would be a collection of all of the favorite recipes of the women's ministry and of the people of the church. Have one of your women's ministry members volunteer to type the recipes; then have one or two people proofread the typed recipes.
Once all that is done, you can assemble the recipes into book format. There are several options for assembling the recipes. If the church already has a binding machine and printer, several volunteers could assemble the books. Another option would be to have the books printed and assembled by a local print shop.
This would be a great idea because it allows women to use their varied gifts and talents. You can then sell the cookbooks to the people in your church and your community. Holiday themed cookbooks are great gifts. You will be surprised how

There are several easy crafts that your Christian women's ministry can create. Some obvious one's are Christmas crafts, Easter crafts, and general crafts. You could organize a weekly craft group that is dedicated to making arts and crafts throughout the year.
Then once you have a good collection of beautifully created pieces of art, you can sell them at local craft bazaars or you could even host a craft bazaar. The women of your group will love the opportunity to be creative and share their talents as a way to raise money for the ministry.
Hosting a special night for kids is another way women can develop friendships with each other and reach out to the kids of the church. If the kids are encouraged to invite a friend, this could also be a great way to reach out to kids in the local community. The fun night could include games, craft tables, Bible dramas' and don't forget snacks for everyone.
The kids are sure to enjoy sugary treats but you may want to include some more healthy options for the women who are volunteering and allergy sensitive participants. An easy way to organize the night is to divide the kids into groups when they arrive. Then you can have the groups "rotate" from one activity table to the next. You can allow 10-15 minutes or more for each activity depending on how long you want to host the kids.
As a bonus, the women's ministry could also host a couples night movie and coffee bar for the moms and dads of the children who are attending the fun night. Imagine how thrilled the parents would be to get a cheap date and have some quality time together. The women in your ministry will get to spend time with each other and the kids will be delighted by the fun activities.
There are many ministry ideas available to ensure your ministry remains fun and creative. A group leader that encourages the skills, talents, and abilities of each individual woman in the group promotes a vibrant women's ministry.
