  Please be wary of new "ground floor" opportunities that promise to be the next big thing. Where you have to get in now or else. Also beware of companies, where the top income earners flash big checks and claim "I made $XXX in my first X months!" Most people will never be able to do that and there is a story of how they got there. If someone starts flashing checks or tells you you got to get in now, trust me on this...run Forrest run!

  Often during training calls for your business, you may be strongly encouraged to put your household tasks aside to give your business your focus, but don't give in. The truth of Scripture clearly flies contradictory to that. Your "Proverbs 31 Project" fits in after your family and home are looked after. And there are many time management techniques you can use to fit it all in. Just remember, at work or in business you are replacable. At home you are not.

  The Proverbs 31 woman is a business woman. She has a vision and a dream to create an additional income stream to bless her family. The key here is that she considers it before she buys it. So don't just whip out the credit card and say "charge it!" to anything that sounds good. Consider your vision, goals, priorities, time available, value of the product and company to others, the company's reputation, if you would use the product anyway, your finances and budget to start a business. Is this something you could see yourself sticking with, through thick and thin, for one to two years?
