The Christian Essentials lens has been started by Rev. Teddy Levron in an effort to dispel some of the myths about what Chrisitianity is and is not. We hope to be a source of accurate information to those who are seeking to explore the Christian faith and a tool for those who are already Christians, seeking resources to help them in explaining Christianity to others.

Christianity is simple. It is about being a follower of Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, Christianity has also been used by individuals to further their own purposes and agendas, causing much confusion over the real message. The definition of a Christian is - one who has surrendered their life to Jesus and is actively following His teachings. Just being a member of a church does not make you a Christian. There is a false sense of security in Church membership and Church activity. Being a Christian is about a personal commitment and action.
There are three basic ingredients to a successful Christian Life.
1) Being born again
2) Growing in your spiritual understanding and application of the teachings of Jesus Christ
3) Reproducing yourself by sharing what you know with others
This is a new lens, so I will be elaborating on this topic and adding links to other sites that can help explain the Essentials of Christianity.
It is my desire to simply share the basics of the faith that has changed my life. Over time, I will share my own story. I hope that you will do the same with me.
