Also included in the "Casa de mi Padre" soundtrack album are songs by Tom Farrell, Cecilia Noel, the Mayan Ghost Choir, the film's stars Will Ferrell, Efren Ramirez and Adrian Martinez, !Hebrochachos!, The Bromigos, and a Spanish version of Procol Harum's A Whiter Shade of Pale by El Puma.

"Casa de mi Padre" is directed by Matt Piedmont and stars Will Ferrell (The Office tv series), Gael Garcia Bernal (The Loneliest Planet, A Little Bit of Heaven), Diego Luna (Contraband), Genesis Rodriguez (Man on a Ledge) and Nick Offerman (21 Jump Street).
The plot focuses on Armando Alvarez (Will Ferrell) and his brother Raul (Diego Luna) as they wage an all-out war against Mexico's most feared drug lord to save the family ranch.
