Christina Hendricks was born on May 3rd, 1975. She is best known for her role on the hit AMC show mad men, playing the role of the bosomy Joan Holloway. She first became known to many for her role as Saffron from the much loved but shortly lived Fox television program Firefly. In recent years she has shot to stardom in many eyes due to her fuller figure which promotes healthier body images for today's youth and her radiant red hair. Unfortunately for natural ginger lovers she was born with blonde hair but began dying it at the early age of ten.
