Tis the season... to get Christmas Apps for iPad!

Get in the holiday mood with some Christmas apps for iPad. From apps that tell Christmas stories, to listening to Christmas Radio stations, you can have a jolly time with your iPad this Christmas season.

Note: There are some free Christmas apps for iPad as well as some paid ones on this page.

Christmas Games for iPad

The obvious Christmas Game for iPad is probably Angry Birds Seasons HD which has some Christmas (or some might say holiday) levels. It also has other holidays besides Christmas--the more the merrier. The free version is Angry Birds Seasons HD Free

Christmas Radio app for iPad

Christmas Radio lets you listen to streaming Christmas radio on your iPad. In this app, you pick a Christmas music station and listen... I like that you can have this app play Christmas music in the background while you use other apps.

Christmas Card App for iPad

Holiday Cards by Sincerely Ink lets you create Christmas Cards, New Years Cards, and Hanukkah cards which you can personalize with pictures and/or text. The app is free but you have to pay for them to ship the cards.

Note: The above Holiday Cards app is different than Apple's greeting card app called Cards but similar. Cards is an iPhone app that will run on the iPad but will be small (you can make it bigger by clicking 2x)

Talking Santa app for iPad

Talking Santa does not seem to me like the ideal Santa I'd want kids to have in mind. This Santa is a little creepy looking and seems to copy what you say and says it back in a deeper voice. Hopefully if kids use this app they don't make Santa say bad words. Those who like apps about things that talk will probably find this amusing.

A Charlie Brown Christmas for iPad

Digital Book App

A Charlie Brown Christmas is an interactive story app that tells the classic Charlie Brown Christmas story. It looks impressive, but I didn't get this one yet due to the price.

More Christmas Story Apps for iPad

Jingle is an interactive Christmas story about a lonely dog during the holidays. The app is free, and if you have Jingle the Husky Pup Interactive Storybook and Plush (Hallmark) then the Jingle stuffed animal will respond at certain times when the narrator is reading the story. The Jingle Apps is worth checking out if you've got kids who like Christmas stories since it's a free app.
