Xmas Audio Books
I love Christmas Audio Books. They take me back to the time I was a small kid and XMas was the time of the year when the air was full of great perfumes of pine, peanuts, oranges, plenty of Christmas cookies and everybody was looking forward to the tree being lit.
Listening to my mother reading us Christmas stories on the evenings before Christmas was our favourite time. These stories with sometimes sad, and sometimes very happy endings captivated our full attention.
Now we can all listen to great narrators telling us the same great Christmas stories and travel back in time to again experience the marvels only children really are capable of feeling.

The Christmas Box
The Christmas Box Audio Book by Richard Paul Evans
"The Christmas Box" is the touching story of a widow and the young family who moves in with her.Together they discover the first gift of Christmas and learn what Christmas is really about. The Christmas Box is a Christmas story unlike any other.
Rick, Keri, and their 4-year-old daughter, Jenna, are hired as caretakers and are welcomed into the home of Mary, an ailing widow, just in time for the holidays. Before long, it becomes apparent that Mary cherishes their companionship, and this young family begins to understand that their relationship to Mary is more special than any one of them could have realized. These tender relationships, fraught with real-life struggles, are the backdrop for unraveling a mysterious secret that gently propels the reader through this short story. Unlike most generic Christmas stories, Evans manages to bypass triviality, imbedding these pages with humble truth and emotion. This tiny treasure will cause you to rejoice in the blessings of the season while stirring up a childlike vigor as old profundity is revealed anew. - Jill Heatherly

Revive the old Tadition of Story Telling
Reading a story to a group of listeners, be it kids or the entire family welds the group together. We kids loved to sit down and listen to our mum reading us stories. Especially during Christmas season, this was great.
As she mostly read to us in the late afternoon, it started to be dark outside and the candles she lit made the amtmosphere somewhat already a bit 'christmasy'. Thinking back to these hours makes me feel warm inside even now.
You can recreate this athmosphere, even if you persoanlly don't like to read to others. Why not gather everybody around the stereo and have one of the skilled narrators tell you one of these emotional and touching stories?
