Do you love cookbooks as much as I do?I don't know why but I really enjoy browsing through cookbooks. I've aquired a huge collection of cookbooks over the years and I have a shelf in my kitchen that handily holds all of my favorites nearby for when I need them.
I especially love looking through Christmas cookbooks. Every year, just before the holidays I switch out my everyday favorite cookbooks for my special Christmas collection of cookbooks.
I've got my Christmas entertaining cookbooks, Christmas Cookie cookbooks, Simple meals for Cooking during the Christmas season cookbooks, and Holiday cocktail cookbooks.

- Wow! What a great selection of holiday cookbooks. I've got some of the Gooseberry Patch editions and they are really terrific. I love the idea of using a cookbook on a stand with the holly as a decoration. Think I'll try that this year. I'm adding this lens as a featured lens on my newest one about Golden Fruitcake which I will publish any day, now. So thanks!

- What a neat Lens. I'm crying as I write this, because it brought back memories of me and my mom (who is now gone) baking Christmas cookies from a beautiful old cookie recipe book that I still have and treasure. Oh how I loved those carefree days! Five stars and a Favorite by me.

- Last year I didn't cook my usual Christmas cookies. My sister-in-law was here and she worked in our kitchen and cooked many kinds of cookies so I thought I didn't need to bother. However, months after Christmas my 16 year-old son was heard to say that the only thing missing from Christmas this year was his Mom's usual Christmas cookies. Boy, did (do) I feel bad! This year will not be the same!
