Christmas Fancy Dress

I get asked this question all the time- 'What costume should I wear to the Christmas Party?'. Of course at first I have a good chuckle and chortle, but then I reach into my bag and hand over a copy of my very best 'Xmas Costume List for Puzzled People'. Once they have read this fine guide, a light goes on in their eyes, and they generally scamper off to buy their costume. Anyway, I'm rambling a bit, so here's a sneak peek of my top costumes list:

1. Santa Suits- Ok, I'm a bit biased here but there is nothing finer than the sight of a grown man in a deep red santa costume. At least that's what my wife tells me. Whilst of course you won't look anywhere near as 'fit' as me, you will still look fine (just by borrowing some of my glory!)

2. Elf Costumes- Green and Red go so well together! Add a pair of mock elf ears and you will look the business!

3. Snowman Costumes- In the words of Aled Jones, 'We're walking in the air......'

4. Angel Costumes- In the words of Robbie Williams, 'I'm loving Angels instead....'

5. Xmas Pudding Costume- Yes, believe it or not you can buy actual Xmas Pudding outfits. Just be careful not to eat yourself when wearing it!

6. Reindeer Costume- I had to put this one on the list, otherwise Rudolf would have the right hump.

7. Joseph Costume- again my hands were tied on this one

8. Mary Costume- Lets face it, number 8 comes with number 7!

9. Turkey Costume- yes its in poor taste, but actually quite amusing

10. Gingerbread Man Costume- just because!
