  One quick way to get stressed out over the holidays is to go shopping for a gift at the last minute. Waiting in long check-out lines, having less items to choose from, and navigating through busy parking lots is no fun, stressful and can make choosing gifts for christmas a real nightmare.
  
  While many people cannot always shop for christmas early due to waiting on a christmas bonus from their place of employment or maybe for other reasons not listed, it is usually a lot easier to absorb the cost of your holiday spending when you shop early because you can spread out the expenses over a longer period of time.

  There are many people that do all of their shopping for presents at home using the internet and by doing so, they save gas money (this can add up to be a lot), they have a substantially wider variety to choose from and are able to get feedback about products by reading reviews from other people that have bought that same gift.
  
  Also, many online retailers have free shipping if ordering over a certain amount, advertise specials or discounts on particular items and some even honor coupons.

  If your husband or special man is on the younger side of this age group try picking a gift that would make him the envy of all his friends, not a gift that will keep his feet warm (unless he specifically asked for it).

  Most men are not nearly as practical as women are and therefore, a lot of men would rather have a new grill that he may use only two or three times a year than something he could use practically everyday (provided the grill is the latest and greatest and provides him with bragging rights to his friends).
  
  On the other hand, If your husband or special man is into sports, then getting him a sports related gift may be just what he will want (provided you factor in the bragging rights when choosing his sports gifts) .



• Tools is another great choice for getting a man a gift.
  
  Even though he may still never fix anything around the house with it, if you have done your homework when selecting his new tool, he will still be able to brag to his friends that he got the latest in drill sets or rachet and socket sets.

• Younger women want to seem older and older women want to feel young.
  
  If your wife, daughter or special woman is on the younger side (around 21 or younger) try picking a gift that would make her seem a little older to other people, not a gift that will make her feel older herself, but something that would make her seem older to other people. Remember, there is a big difference between someone that seems older and someone that seems old so don't get carried away.
  
  On the other hand, If your wife, daughter or special woman is a little older (30 ish or more), try choosing a gift that will not only make her feel younger, but something that will make other people think she is younger too.



• Refer to the things you know she likes, If she enjoys scrapbooking, then maybe a new scrapbook or some supplies for her current scrapbook, if she likes to paint, maybe some new canvas or paints and don't forget anything else she may have already mentioned that she would like to have for christmas.



• Don't forget, it's all about her, don't buy something you want her to have, buy her a gift that she wants her to have. Sometimes it is easy to get wrapped up in our selves so much that when we see something we like, we automatically think she will like it too, it dosen't work that way, just because we would like the newest video game that comes out dosen't mean she would like to have it too.
