Great Lens - We've hung a christmas pickle for generations - but never a real pickle, just a pickle shaped ornament - Thanks for this fun lens

My sisters husband is German. One year she say the Christmas pickle ornaments and gave all his brothers and sisters a pickle along with a fruit cake. Now the fruit cake they understood but none of them had ever heard about the pickle tradition! They did think it was cute and the ornaments are cute. I do agree with you though about the chili peppers and tomatoes, I like them just a little bit more. Our family had crab legs for dinner many years, sure did look forward to that.

My mother-in-law gave us a glass pickle ornament about 20 years ago. I opened the box and just set staring. I had no idea what to say. I thought it was some kind of twisted joke or something:)

I've never heard of this whole pickle hanging thing before! Sounds interesting and I was a bit relieved to hear it was a glass pickle...otherwise the pickle smell would kind of take away some of the cheer on Christmas morning. :) Love your humor...Fun lens!

Now I have never hung a pickle on my tree, but it sounds fun. Problem is I have 9 pets in my home and one of them would probably eat it. You have been Blessed by The Party Animal. Party On....
