I display a large Christmas cactus in full bloom every year.

the image with the pointsettias in the background and the cactus flowers in front is really beautiful. I love these flowers but I didn't know much about what they symbolized for Christmas so I learned a lot today too!

My Christmas cactus plants never fail to delight me, and I've shared cuttings with friends and family for years. Thanks for adding this lens to Purple Star Pastiche - it's now in the voting plexo waiting for you to come back and vote it to the top.

Poinseittas are so beautiful, but one year a dog ate them and almost died. Be careful

I've always loved to incorporate Poinsettias into our front door decorations.

Plants are always beautiful at two seasons, Spring and Christmastime. I love these images that you've chosen and of course they're at one of the most beautiful times of the year :)

I love plants as well Lizzy-although I live in an apartment so space is somewhat limited. I love a Poinsetta at Christmas time. The FTD arrangements you have showcased here are just gorgeous.

These are all beautiful flowers! My husband or son always give me an Amaryllis and they stay right in my kitchen and keep me company while I work. My mother has always given me a Poinsettia, but I have to keep it in my den. It is fabulous having live plants in the house in the dead of winter.

I love poinsettias! We planted one in the back yard from our living room decorations several years ago. It is now peeping over the top of our six foot fence and 5 feet in diameter...beautiful! Great Lens! 5*

I'm a plant lover too and enjoyed this lens as another harbinger for the Christmas season. We got our tree up and put out the poinsettias, wreaths, garlands, etc. yesterday and last night and that began fueling the ambiance of Christmas in our house. Here's hoping that you and all of our Squidoo family enjoys a very merry Christmas! I'm awed that you have achieved 200 lens since March of '08- Congratulations!

I really like buying Poinsettias to decorate our front entrance. I also like the bright red Poinsettia plants (though I've enjoyed the pink too). It seems like "Christmas" once the plants frame our walkway. Great lens!
