The Christmas Song For Guitar

GUITAR TAB CLASSICAL CHRISTMAS STORY

The guitar has become an important part of the music we play at Christmas. I think this stems in part from the story of the now famous and beautiful carol 'Silent Night'.

The story goes that Franz Gruber from the  Austrian town of Oberndorf wrote the carol Silent Night to be sung with the organ at the Christmas service. Because the organ was so out of tune Franz decided to use the guitar to accompany the church choir.
