    It's never too early to think of Christmas with all the preparations and gifts and decorating ideas we want to consider. It's like the old Xmas song line "Making a list and checking it twice".... this page gives me lots of good suggestions and ideas to begin my 'Christmas To-Do List' now and save me 'hurrying to finish everything' too close to the holiday!     Decorating cut out cookies with my brother and sister and mother and then with my own children when they were little. I am looking forward to sharing this tradition with my grandson someday.

    Beautifully written! I love you recommendations for gifts too! Christmas has always been a family time for us. We have tons of guests and family in for the holidays. By the time New Year's is over, I am tired, but have a lot of new good memories :)

    Lovely lens. My hubby had a family tradition of a Goose for dinner every year and we carried that on for many, many years. Your recipe looks delicious!

    Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Although it does get me depressed a little thinking about all th homeless people in the cold, and those without family, during this time of the year. Nice lens Dom.

    I love remembering my childhood Xmas evenings , too . Lots of snow ,grandma 's fabulous food from the village , home made gifts or something very cheap and playing a lot together .... Those were magical days for me though mom says financially it was very tough for them in the 1960 's.
    From that I understand that the time we spend with our children makes all the holidays so memorable : cooking , crafting , wrapping together ....
