1. Silk Flowers - Colourful silk flowers will look beautiful when you arrange them properly on the Christmas trees. Cut the stems of the silk flowers and use the flower itself as a decoration. You can spread them on the branches of the tree. You can choose different colours of silk flowers depending on your theme. For instance, if you want the snowy effect, you can use all white silk flowers. If you want a colourful effect, you can use different colours of silk flowers. Spread them evenly on the branches of the tree. Do not just focus on the outer branches, but put some silk flowers on the inner part of the branches as well.
2. Candles - Another decor that would look great on Christmas trees are the old fashioned candles. Candles that are coloured white, red, and gold will look great when they are hanged on the tip of the branches of the Christmas tree. However, you should not light these candles while they are on the tree. It might cause a fire especially if you are not there to monitor or guard it. The candle will be used primarily to beautify the tree, so do not light it.
3. Crowning Glory - Usually, a star or an angel is placed at the top of the Christmas tree. However, if you want a unique look, you can use other items as the crowning glory of your tree. Search around your house and look for an object that can be used as the crowning glory. A family heirloom is a good item to be placed at the top of the tree if you want the traditional look. Adding a traditional touch on your Christmas tree will give a different effect that will make the tree more attractive. You can also make your own crowning glory if you cannot find a good item in your house. You can also stick to the traditional angel and star if that is what you want.

4. Ribbons - You can also use ribbons to decorate Christmas trees. Aside from using garlands, ribbons can be used as well. Wind the colourful ribbons on the branches of the tree. Start from the bottom and wind the ribbons until you reach the top of the tree. Make sure that the ribbons are evenly laid on the branches of the tree.
