Want a sappy sweet love story for Christmas?

This is one of those movie that has a story that is too incredible to be true. But yet, somehow after watching it, you probably hoped that it is real and there is still hope for such romances. :)

This movie has great actors, great scenery and a great plot with a happy ever after fairy tale ending. What's there not to like?

The story started with a soldier overseas during Christmas who receives a Christmas card that touched him from a woman named Faith.

Sounds like a romantic story you'd like? If you are the romantic sort, this is probably right up your alley.

The Christmas Card

At my number 7 in my list of Christmas movies is a movie that reminds me of my childhood. I always love Dr. Seuss when I was young.

Watching this movie always brings me the warm fuzzies of Christmas past for a visit. This movie is a classic cartoon about The Grinch. He lives just north of Whoville. He is tired of listening to their Christmas celebration each year and decided that this year to spoil the Christmas by dressing up as Santa and to take everything Christmassy from them.

One of the song in the movie is really great fun to listen "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch."

This is probably one of the most fun Christmas present that you can get for someone or even yourself!

This is another one of those childhood favorites that never fails to bring a smile to my face.

The Muppets has taken a fresh and interesting take on the often re-made Charles Dickens's "A Christmas Carol." If you like the Muppets like me, you'll enjoy this movie alot especially in catching the adult humor. Although the movie is really meant for kids, it has successfully directed towards the child in each of us.

The Muppet Christmas Carol - Kermit's 50th Anniversary Edition

When it came out in 1990, I remember I dropped off the chair laughing when I watched it for the first time.

The story is simple - how a young boy who was left behind at home by his family accidentally during Christmas and he has to fight back protecting himself and his home from the 2 burglars. The fun really starts when he sets the house up with all sorts of tricks and traps, to outsmart and outmaneuver these two idiotic burglars.

Macaulay Culkin was one of the most adorable child star back then. Just look at how cute he is in this movie and you'll know why!

This is one Christmas comedy that I can simply sit down and enjoy and laugh.
Home Alone

This movie is a truly best holiday Classic as it has been around for 33 years! Although it is an old movie, every time you watch it, it still is vastly entertaining and remarkably fresh.

Scrooge is played by Albert Finney and everyone agrees that he is the best to have played this part.

This movie is just what you'll need if you are getting humbuggish about the commercialization of the Christmas holiday. Overall this a wholesome and very enjoyable film that everyone will enjoy for many years to come!

This is not exactly a classic nor a family orientated type of film that you'll watch with your kids. It consists of several love stories in the movie and the great thing about it is that it does not portray love as always being happy and sweet. Not all the love stories end in a good happily ever after ending! It gives you a more real take on love, wonder, joy, pain, happiness, passion, grief...it's a mixture of comedy and romanticism!

The cast includes Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Laura Linney, Kiera Knightley and Alan Rickman.

I admit. I am a animation movie buff. Which is why I love this Christmas animation classic from Tim Burton. This is what we call a stop-motion animation which requires 24 individually posed frames to produce just 1 second's worth of action. So you can imagine how much work has been put into producing this amazing animation.

This movie is hysterically funny with its dark mischief, thus not appropriate for the very young. I just love all the creativity behind the movie, the music, the characters, the story, the script, the imagery etc

One word : Brilliant!
