Getting into the Christmas spirit

Edible Christmas GiftsWhat are your favorite Christmas memories? What gets you into the spirit?

These days, we're so rushed that it's hard to take time out to get into the proper holiday spirit. But there are a few things that help ME anyway...

1) Christmas music
2) Gingerbread Houses (or even images of them, see the image on the right)
3) Christmas lights
4) Christmas lights (yes, I wrote this one twice - this is one of my all-time favorite things).
5) Presents
6) Spending time with loved ones.
7) Making christmas goodies

The Christmas goodies are a bit of a challenge since I'm pretty much avoiding anything with sugar in it, and as much as possible white flour too.
But I'm hunting around for alternatives, and I just came across some yummy cookie recipies that contain neither sugar nor flour. Can't wait ;-)
